University Health Initiatives
Simon Fraser University Medical School: Established a PMO and working groups; advanced concurrent workstreams for facilities, programs, staffing, technology, and community relations; collaborated weekly with Assistant Deputy Ministers and Executive Directors from the Ministries of Health and Post-Secondary Education & Future Skills to develop a comprehensive business case for provincial Treasury Board.
University of Victoria: Consulted with key partners including Island Health, UBC, Primary Care Networks, and non-profit organizations; developed a proposal for the Ministries of Health and Post-Secondary Education & Future Skills for an academic primary care centre, including curricular innovations and patient attachment plans; established a logic model and priorities for the Health Research brand, focusing on awareness-building and partnerships
Clinical Partnerships
Northern Health Authority at University Hospital of Northern BC: Conducted appreciative inquiry with clinicians and administrators; facilitated interdepartmental conflict resolution across pediatrics, psychiatry, emergency, family practice, and administration; delivered 9 recommendations, including service mapping, team-based care, and discharge planning protocols.
Medical Staff & Quality Governance
Provincial Health Authority: Engaged Vice-Presidents of Medical Affairs and Medical Advisory Councils at two health authorities; established a stakeholder register for consultation; partnered with the Ministry of Health’s Clinical Integration, Regulation, and Education Division on review and health authority Board promulgation of Medical Staff Bylaws
