Meet the Founder

EFFECTegy's founder, Christine Vandebeek, credits two decades of cross-sector experience – including government, health care, energy & natural resources - for her track record in identifying the interests of diverse stakeholders and earning their trust to co-design solutions to long-standing challenges.

Christine began her career in professional services 23 years ago, co-founded a management consultancy and built a roster of cross-sector clients. She is a gifted executive facilitator and quickly earns the trust of each client’s internal and external stakeholders. She also served in Director roles in large public sector organizations and a multinational retail corporation, honing her insights into execution of large-scale transformation.

Returning to consulting in 2017, Christine founded EFFECTegy to futureproof organizations through strategic planning, Environmental, Social and Governance practices, and strategic performance management. With experience at a Big 4, she is deeply invested in offering a sustainable consulting model - one that creates a triple win for EFFECTegy's clients, its people and the business. She holds an MBA from Simon Fraser University and global designations as an ESG advisor to Boards and an agile coach.

A Different, Sustainable Consulting Model

Other consulting firms call it low-leverage. We call it a triple win.

By balancing the time of senior-level advisors with new consultants we create more value for our clients, growth and wellbeing at work for young people, and grow our micro-enterprise.

Clients benefit from the guidance of senior-level advisors, not only to close the deal but throughout every step of the engagement.

We offer Advisory Service Grants to non-profits

Entry-level consultants gain more 1:1 coaching and training from senior-level advisors. That helps us deliver higher value.

Our firm grows through repeat clients and referrals. Spending less energy to acquire new clients allows us to do more for the clients we already have.
